Ep 58 - Google Drive
The blank frames are because Google forbids embedding its login page in an IFRAME (presumably to prevent account stealing), via the X-Frame-Options header, which if set to SAMEORIGIN will cause any well-behaved browser to refuse to load the page if it's not in the same domain (v.g. drive.google.com). You can see this in the developer console of your browser.
Ep 58 - Google Drive
At the time of writing this answer, there was no method to embed which let the user navigate inside folders and view the files without her leaving the website (the method in other answers, makes everything open in a new tab on google drive website), so I made my own tool for it. To embed a drive, paste the iframe code below in your HTML:
1.)Go to the google drive folder you want to embed (for example, drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/1v7cGug_e3lNT0YjhvtYrwKV7dGY-Nyh5u [this is not a real folder]) Ensure that the folder is publicly shared and visible to anyone.
Note:This works only for files and subfolders you actually uploaded in the GDrive folder, not the subfolders you add as 'shortcut'. If a subfolder is displaying improperly, download it's contents and upload it to drive inside that specific folder. If you 'Move' folder within google drive, GDrive adds it as a 'shortcut'.
In March 2017, Google introduced Drive File Stream, a desktop application for G Suite (now Google Workspace) customers using Windows and macOS computers that maps Google Drive to a drive letter on the operating system, and thus allows easy access to Google Drive files and folders without using a web browser. It also features on-demand file access, when the file is downloaded from Google Drive only when it is accessed. Additionally, Drive File Stream supports the Shared Drives functionality of Google Workspace.[92][93]
Google Drive allows users to share drive contents with other Google users without requiring any authorization from the recipient of a sharing invitation. This has resulted in users receiving spam from unsolicited shared drives. Google is reported to be working on a fix.[120]
Every week, Professor Bates would drive out to the prison, make her way over to solitary confinement and sit down in a space in between the cells of these men to discuss Macbeth, Hamlet, Othello and Richard II. She wrote about her experiences in a book titled Shakespeare Saved My Life: Ten Years in Solitary with the Bard.

This is NOT the same as backup and sync, which stores ALL your files on your local hard drive. This method shows you how to select individual files that you would like to make available for offline access.
It sucks in its sync-algorithms. I dont know how google managed to write such a crappy algorithm. It doesnt sync stuff many times, I cant rename any folder when it is syncing, it creates temp files first before syncing and then refuses to sync. I was always scared of losing my files using google drive. Reverted back to onedrive.
just wondering about the file sync option: in the pcloud review, i found it interesting that the pcloud folder on your harddrive will not take up any free space on your harddrive.I am not sure how this is with Google Drive, it is not explicitely mentioned, but it says that the drive folder is synchronised with a local folder, so i conclude that in this case, it will take up space on your harddrive, unlike pcloud. Am i correct in this? Thanks for confirming.
A source connected to the show tells us the crash happened just outside Las Vegas early Sunday morning. Ryan was racing another driver in what was the 8th out of 9 races scheduled for the night for the show.
A GoFundMe created for Ryan's family reads, "Ryan was an avid car enthusiast and was a road 'warrior' in many ways that extended to loves of basketball, cars and business in sales/advertising. He was admired for tenacity and a relentless drive to overcome the challenges before him."
Cameron Brick: and they don't realize like how massive that is in reference to other more visible issues, like carrying your bags to the grocery store or what kind of car you drive or like that. So all of this, we can say form a different, [00:28:00] different types of behaviors. Some of them are curtailment do less of something. Some of them are, do more of something like engage with your local government or write your politicians or, consume something you think is eco groovy and very, very California from my. I'm stoked to use such a word with you. So, uh, yeah. Uh, there's no reason to think in psychological terms that all of these behaviors form a single category in any given brain that is to say, we can, we can decide that there's some sort of cluster, you know, of, of how someone relates to the environment that we might call it something environmental concern, let's say. And maybe we ask about it in lots of different ways. And then we combine them and we get some aggregate kind of like we would sample a personality space. So let's call it a trait. But the behaviors aren't like [00:29:00] that, because like you said, a moment ago, there might be a very important behavior that is not even on their radar.
to help the environment more than anything was [00:53:00] openness to new experiences. And that kind of makes sense, because in terms of, uh, how innovations get diffused through a population, there's going to be a small group of people who are looking outside of the routine. You know, not, not a current Tesla driver, like a Tesla driver 10 years ago, or however many years ago. I don't know how many. Yeah. So there are early adopters of pro-environmental behaviors as well. And these people tend to be high in openness.
